Safety Team
Erin Smythe (she/her)
This is Erin’s 5th year being on the Safety Team at Focus! Erin is a licensed mental health clinician and has her own therapy practice in New York City. She also is a former teacher and now uses her therapy and teaching expertise and a career coach for teachers. Outside of her practice, Erin is a lindy hop dancer who loves the connection and joy the dance community brings. She’s passionate about mental health both on and off the dance floor, and she brings that same warmth and groundedness to the spaces she shows up in.
Jesse Stanley (he/him)
Jesse is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in private practice and a Board Certified Coach (BCC) who has been in this role at Lindy Focus for several years now. He also works on safety teams for other exchanges around the country. He values creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and supported.
